Owner's Tips on Buying Toyota Parts
As the economy of the world gingerly steps forward with little confidence as to what will come next, there are still a few things we can all count on. For one thing, people still have the need to drive. This means most will continue to maintain their current cars, as buying new is out of reach for many. And after all, you don't go buy a new car because you need an oil change or a new headlight. Result: there is a high demand for dependable auto parts. And one name that has always stood for dependability is Toyota and Toyota parts.

One of the most important factors in deciding on parts for any car is the decision to buy either original (OEM) or “aftermarket” parts. Genuine Toyota parts usually fit better, last longer and look better than generic replacement parts. The materials are quite often more durable, and the paint is of a higher quality as well. Aftermarket parts, on the other hand, may cost a bit less. Regardless of which you choose, in this modern world of caveat emptor, anyone shopping online or by mail order will want to make sure the seller has an acceptable return policy.

It's important to go a bit further into detail for the definitions of OEM vs. aftermarket Toyota parts. OEM parts are usually manufactured by independent companies contracted by Toyota to supply them with parts for all its new models. The automaker can slap its logo on the boxes and for all intents and purposes, it looks like a part made by the automaker itself. Now fast forward. After a certain amount of time elapses, the independent part makers are allowed to sell these parts to other parties – the independent distributors. The boxes get new logos, but it's the same part. This is the OEM story.

Aftermarket Toyota parts are produced by companies other than the original part maker. The parts are made to spec – to fit and look similar to the OEM parts. The aftermarket companies buy the rights to make the automaker's parts to supply the same independent distributors that sell the OEM parts. These parts are usually produced with the same materials and on the same machinery as the OEM parts. The biggest difference between aftermarket and OEM parts comes in the part themselves. Aftermarket parts are usually cheaper and here's why: these companies make parts for other vehicles with similar specs. They sell the same part for many car or truck brands, decreasing their overhead costs of manufacturing. While the specs are suppose to be exact, they have a bit of wiggle room. This transcends into excess wear and the length of life in the part.

Important - If you have any doubts about the seller as to their legitimacy, go ahead and call them up. In fact, sometimes it's best to order by phone even if the seller has an extensive online shopping cart, because you'll get to speak with a live person, and you will get a great idea about how professional and expedient the company is.

How to Order: Make sure you have your vehicle's VIN number, as well as the year, make and model, when ordering. Also, make sure you know how the part(s) will ship, and if you'll be expected to sign for delivery. The best way to avoid returns is to order correctly to begin with!

To sum up, make sure you educate yourself when buying Toyota parts to repair or accessorize your vehicle. Your Toyota will continue to transport you to work and play for years to come, and run and look great while it does.

Read and Understand Auto Lease Purchase Agreements with an Agreement Example

If you plan to lease an automobile you may wish to familiarize yourself with a standard lease agreement example.

If you plan to lease an automobile you may wish to familiarize yourself with a standard lease agreement example. Contract examples can be picked up from the auto dealer. It is recommended that you examine the document prior to making any decision. When you have the contract template to study where you are not under the pressure of a salesperson you can make a more informed decision.

The law that allows for a three day “cooling off period” or “right to cancel” does not apply to automobile leases or purchases. So, it is very important you read the agreement example and verify the figures prior to signing.

Certain facts are required by Federal Law to be included in the contract. Be sure that the following are included and understood: monthly payment, amount due at signing, total of payments, how the monthly payment was determined, other charges, early termination statement, and wear and tear explanation.

While this gives you a great deal of information you still need to consider other information. Regulations do not require the actual figures to be in the contract. The amount you are being credited for your trade-in, the vehicle’s price, finance charges, or even if the monthly payment is calculated correctly. Many times there are mistakes that may or may not be intentional. You must catch any error and have it corrected prior to signing the contract. If you wait it will be too late.

Improvements in regulations regarding contracts have helped but contracts do not have to be written in English that is easy to understand by the average person. If there is anything in a contract that you are not getting an answer to do not feel pressured to sign until you understand!

Reasons To Opt For A Limo

We each have special occasions in our life. Sometimes, the occasion might need to be marked with the use of an equally special vehicle. One way of doing this is by going in and opting for something fancy, like a hummer limousine. These kinds of vehicles are quite the rage now and many people are renting them out because of the convenience factor. In fact, the cost of renting the vehicle has also reduced significantly enough for people to opt for this kind of a vehicle. Previously, limo rental was restricted only to the elite. Now, things have changed and even the common man can rent a limousine with enough money.

There are some occasions that come only once in your life. One such occasion would be the prom, for which you should consider going in a limousine to. After all, it is not like you will be going to proms throughout your life and when it does happen, you would want to make it memorable. The concept of prom limos is catching on quickly and many people have warmed up to the idea of using a limousine to pick up their date and head out to the prom. In addition to a memorable night, your date will appreciate the extra effort as well.

While proms might be one occasion that might necessitate the need for a limousine, it is not the only occasion that there is. In fact, weddings are equally special as well and you could probably make use of limousines for this occasion too. A good wedding limo is something that you can make use of in order to have a special occasion and probably remember it for a long time to come. Since the day when you get married to the person you love should be as perfect as possible, you shouldn’t skimp on any of the costs and should spend if the situation demands it, without thinking twice.

Even a party is a reason to celebrate in style. If you have the money, a party bus limo rental will give you some really fine options to choose from. You can perhaps choose the size of the bus as well as other aspects in order to throw a truly memorable party that your friends will not forget anytime soon. Nowadays, parties have a variety of different themes and hence, choosing the one that you can identify yourself most with is pretty much the norm.

If you truly love someone, then consider going in for a birthday limo. There is no special way of showing how much the person means to you other than using this kind of a limousine. Almost anyone would definitely fall head over heels at such a thing and be extremely happy to be with you. Since getting a limo is itself a special thing, it can be doubly special if you can do it on a special day like a birthday or an anniversary. The cost is something that you should least be bothered about and shouldn’t particularly beat yourself up about.
